The Moore County Health Department has created a webpage for citizens to pre-register for the COVID-19 vaccination.  Citizens can visit www.moorecountync.org/shot to pre-register and find more information on which Phase is currently being vaccinated.  

FirstHealth in partnership with the Moore County Health Department have created Operation FirstShot to help citizens of Moore County stay up to date on who is eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.  Please visit Operation FirstShot for the latest information including steps for registering for the vaccine.

NC HOPE Program
Applications are now being accepted for the NC HOPE Program, which will assist eligible low- and- moderate-income renters experiencing financial hardship due to COVID-19. You can apply online at nc211.org/hope or by dialing 2-1-1 between 7am-6pm, Monday-Friday.  See Frequently Asked Questions for more information.

Executive Orders
Governor Cooper signed Executive Order 188 on January 6th.  The Order extends EO 181 of the modified stay at home order and nighttime (10 p.m. - 5 a.m.) closure for certain businesses and activities.   

Executive Order 184 was signed on December 30th.  The Order extends EO 171 which is the temporary halting of certain residential evictions for nonpayment of rent.  EO 184 expires January 31, 2021, unless repealed, replaced, or rescinded.  See Frequently Asked Questions for more detail on EO 184.

Executive Order 181 was signed on December 8th.  The Order implements a modified stay at home order and requires nighttime closure (10 p.m. - 5 a.m.) for certain businesses and activities.  The Order is effective until January 8, 2021.  See Frequently Asked Questions for more detail on EO 181.

Executive Order 180 was signed on November 23rd.  The Order increases face covering requirements to prevent rapid spread of COVID-19.  This order is effective until December 11, 2020.  See Frequently Asked Questions for more detail on EO 180.

Executive Order 176 was signed on November 10th.  The Order extends Phase 3 and reduced Mass Gathering Limits for indoor spaces from 25 to 10 people.  See Frequently Asked Questions for more detail on EO 176.

Executive Order 171 was signed on October 28th.  The Order clarifies the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's eviction moratorium to prevent unwarranted evictions and help struggling communities.  The Order is in effect until December 31, 2020, unless repealed, replaced, or rescinded.
