ABERDEEN – State transportation officials have postponed a small group meeting for the N.C. 211 improvements project in Moore and Hoke counties in response to the coronavirus threat.

Governor Roy Cooper recently declared a state of emergency over the COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak and the World Health Organization labeled COVID-19 as a pandemic.

In the interest of public health, the N.C. Department of Transportation has postponed the small group meeting scheduled for Tuesday, March 17 at the Aberdeen Lake Park Recreation Station until further notice. Project officials will present the latest proposed designs at a later date.
