Police Officer's Prayer

The Town of Aberdeen Police Department currently does not have any open positions.  For positions available with the Town of Aberdeen check Employment Opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school graduate from an accredited high school or have a GED
• At least 21 years old
• Honorable discharge, if a veteran
• Must be a citizen of the United States at the time of application
• Must possess a valid North Carolina Driver's License
• Must be of good moral character, have no felony convictions and committed no incidents of domestic violence
• Successful Completion of The NC Basic Law Enforcement Training program
• Pass a Pre-Employment background investigation
• Pass a Pre-Employment Oral Review
• Pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screen
• Pass a Pre-Employment Psychological Evaluation
• Pass a Pre-Employment Physical Fitness Test ( POPAT )
• Pass a Pre-Employment physical screening
