NEW PAYMENT METHODS
The Town of
Aberdeen's Water Department accepts Visa, Discover and Mastercard. This payment method is being accepted
for all parks and recreation fees, planning and
zoning fees, yard sale fees, parking tickets,
privilege licenses, new service applications and water bills.
The Water Department is open Monday
thru Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
BANK DRAFT
The Water
Department offers and encourages bank draft for
utility payments. This payment option requires
the customer to sign up on bank draft (ACH
Withdrawal) by submitting a voided check and
a signed copy of a release for the funds to be
withdrawn for. The utility payment is drafted from the
customer's bank account on or around the 10th day of the
billing month. This method is a wonderful option
for those who travel often or just need one less
worry about getting their payment in on time.
Please remember
when signing up for bank draft, your account has to
be pre-noted through your bank with a 00.00 charge
one billing cycle prior to your account actually
being drafted. We recommend you plan for this.
Check your bank account to confirm the pre-note
amount is 00.00. When you receive your water bill
statement after the pre-note, your water bill
statement will state “Your account will be drafted…”
at this point you know all your information has
cleared and you’re successfully set up for bank
draft (ACH Withdrawal). If you have any questions,
please call the Water Department at 944-7799.
REMINDER FOR UTILITY PAYMENTS
Water bills will be
mailed July 1st, so keep an eye out for your bill.
Please remember that there is a $5.00 or 5% late fee
for all bills not paid by 5:00 p.m. on July 20th
and those bills not paid by 5:00 p.m. on August 5th
will be disconnected on Friday, August 6th.
It is still important for all residents to be aware
that we are under a Stage 1 water conservation
level. PLEASE be cautious of the amount of water
that you are using!!
BILLS RECEIVED THROUGH THE MAIL
When mailing your
bill or dropping it in the night deposit,
PLEASE
write your
account number on your check. This insures that the
payment is posted to the correct account. The Water
Department also requests that customers do not tape
or staple their bill stubs to their check.
YARD SALE PERMITS
Yard sale permits can be
obtained at the Water Department. Each Town of
Aberdeen resident is allowed two yard sales per year
and must fill out a yard sale permit form and pay a $5.00 fee.
